Marsh, McCollum Back Stoney
"Richmond mayors Henry Marsh and Rudy McCollum endorsed Levar Stoney’s bid for mayor at a news conference held Tuesday morning in Church Hill. Marsh, 82, served as the city’s first African-American mayor from 1977 to 1982. He also served in the Virginia General Assembly from 1992 to June 2014, when he retired. Anne Holton Endorses Levar Stoney For Mayor Of Richmond
"Anne Holton, wife of Tim Kaine, the Democratic nominee for vice president, is endorsing Levar Stoney for mayor of Richmond. Holton and Stoney previously worked together in Gov. Terry McAuliffe's Cabinet...Holton was secretary of education and Stoney was secretary of the commonwealth...Kaine is a former Richmond mayor. He and Holton have lived in Richmond for 32 years. Holton also lived in the Executive Mansion in her youth as a daughter of Gov. Linwood Holton."
